Skunks, Raccoons, and Groundhogs

Groundhogs, skunks, and raccoons often use the imperfections of buildings as their nest. These animals feed on garbage and garden produce.

Raccoons may enter attics in the spring to nest and begin raising young. Use a certified exterminator to avoid any danger when removing them.

Groundhogs can create underground tunnels under houses or gardens and cause a cave-in. They feed on garden plants.

Skunks use old groundhog burrows or cracks under balconies and porches. During the winter, these openings are often closed by snow and an odor can seep in.
